Fashion, Marais, and Bastille

The Louvre

Lacking a quintessential photo for today to place above the fold, I include one from our lunch in celebration of the food in Paris. Doesn't it look good?

Today is our final day in Paris. Mel wanted to see some of the historically significant fashion sites, since he's into fashion. So, we wandered a bit today at a leisurely pace, just soaking in the city for one final day.

We began below the Champs-Élysées at some of the high-end shops, then we moved on to Rue Faubourg St-Honoré, home to every major fashion house and the haute couturiers.

Rue Faubourg St-Honoré took us to the area north of the Louvre. We decided to explore the Marais again and find some dinner eventually. We walked down to the Bastille square after dinner and by now it was about 11 p.m. Time has run out on our Paris vacation, time to get on the Metro and head back to the hotel.
