Salt Lake City

On a recent business trip to Salt Lake, I checked in on some of the city’s highlights. As you can imagine, these fall mainly in two categories: scenery and Mormonism.

I was lucky to visit around Christmas because the Temple Square is lit up and decorated ostentatiously. It’s an impressive display. It was also about 10 degrees, so my walk was brief.

Reflecting Pool

This pool is in front of the Mormon temple. The floating candles are beautiful. Someone just needs to remove the religious figures suspended over water.
