Night Windows

I happened to be on the east side and took a few photos of the buildings here in the evening. I like these two. They are not perfect photos, but they came out a lot better than I’d hoped. I like the composition of the first photo with the taxi and the Seagram Building.

Seagram Building

At the corner of Park and 52nd Street is the Seagram Building. It was built in the late 1950s and was the first skyscraper to be set back from the street, allowing for a public plaza--a daring architectural experiment.

Chrysler Finale

The top of the Chrysler is a delight, particularly at night. I wonder, what happens in those rooms at the tippy-top?
