Circuit Board

My graphics card died recently, and I wanted to see if I could see something compelling in its intricacy. Circuit boards and computer transistor boards are often reminiscent of human patterns—highways and towns, for example, and I see these here, too.

I deliberately kept the depth of focus narrow, and wanted to see how it affected these patterns—the lines and structures.

Lines Flare

The focus on this macro lens causes the circuit lines to flare.

Macro Lens Curcuit Board

A macro lens view of my graphics card. The incredible depth of focus on this lens almost looks tilt-shift.
