SF Street Art

I don’t usually devote much space here for photographs of art, although I find I take them when I have the opportunity. For me, art is not a “neutral” subject. Art is designed to provoke some response, so posting a photo of someone else’s art means my photo is no longer the art—it merely conveys the artist’s provocation. So, you won’t see too many photos of art on my website.

Having said that, San Francisco is awash in very creative street art, and I wanted to offer a sample of things that struck my eye there.
