Sixth Avenue’s Boxy Buildings

There’s a section of Sixth Avenue in Midtown where there was a flurry of skyscrapers that went up in the 1960s and 1970s. Mostly, they are generic looking boxes. Perhaps their only saving grce is that if they were built in the last couple decades, they’d all be glass curtain buildings, making them even more boring.
