Adirondack Hiking
Just a quick post of a shot or two from the Adirondacks. Each year venture up here, I find I take fewer photos. Perhaps this is an effort to focus more on being in the wilderness, something I place great value on in my life, and leave behind any semblance of my “normal” life.
Blue Mountain Lake
Each year we hike up to Castle Rock, a small rock outcrop that has a great view over Blue Mountain Lake. The clouds were moving today, so I decided to take a timelapse with my phone as I perched myself on the outcrop.
Chimney Mountain
This shot is my friend Jen on top of Chimney Mountain, a rock outcrop in the middle of the humungous Adirondack Park. Not a popular hike, it’s tucked away off the main roads.
