I have a bit of an obsession with this building. I’m not sure why; I think I’m the only person in New York who actually likes the building. So, here are a few shots from different vantage points.

Park Avenue Viaduct

The Park Avenue viaduct snakes around Grand Central Terminal and is elevated above the street level, then passes through the base of the Helmsley Building in two S-shaped tunnels. This is the southern entrance.

The perfect place to see all the way down 42nd Street is from the overpass in Tudor City. You see the traffic, and some of the skyscrapers that line the street, the most famous of which is the Chrysler Building.
