Village & Tribeca

56 Leonard

The building at 56 Leonard Street is the tallest building in Tribeca. It’s better known as the “Jenga” building. One of these fancy-ass condos with two bedrooms for many millions of dollars.

Despite that, I do like the building from an architectural and design point of view. It looks different from every angle.

Staple Street

A little-known alleyway in Tribeca, Staple Street, has a great viaduct. Its paint is peeling, its stature is small, and it gives the street a vintage look. I’ve visited this alley many times, and it’s a quiet, urban oasis that I’ll go back to again.
