Beginning with their parents and aunts and uncles, the album has many photos from the Schuyler Flatts (their home), and one section for each of their children: Bill, Kathryn, Chick, Biddy, George, Mary, and Schuyler.

The chronicles of Schuyler Beattie, my grandfather, from birth in 1912, through his teenage years and his time at the Flatts. He includes his amateur acting, his early career at Paramount Pictures, travels to Hollywood in 1939, and concludes with his marriage to Rosamond Keenan in 1940.

Schuyler and Rosamond Beattie’s cross-country trip with the kids in the summer of 1957. They ventured from Pennsylvania out to Nebraska, Colorado, California, Nevada, Wyoming, and South Dakota, and even visited Disneyland.
